Game Drive! Lion Kill!

Had a fantastic father's day with my family this morning. Went out to Nairobi National Park for a game and was blessed to see a lion hunt and kill. We witnessed a buffalo calf born last night hunted and killed by a nursing lioness. Buffalo mum fought the lioness for nearly an hour before finally giving up once the lioness got its claws on the calf

Mummy buffalo put up quite a fight!

After the kill, the lioness had a few bites of the baby buffalo then carried the rest to her cubs and hid in the bush.
