"I am good enough at field judging to say that he will gross around 200 to 215 as a typical and he will loose 12 to 19 inches in deductions. Good enough to make it into Boone and Crockett maybe or maybe not "all time book". He probably doesn't have enough to book as a non-typical. Definitely a buck of a life time. This one rough scored 197 3/8 and has 5 points on the left side and 7 points on the left side. He has 38 inches of mass. Your buck has more mass and more deductions too".
I agree...
Close, but not him. Probably his son though...
Definitely a buck of a lifetime! It's amazing how well people can field judge these bucks. I suppose you have him tied up until hunting season?
How did you know? Actually, I have been studying the maps and possibilities for next year, but I suspect that he does not ever cross into public land. But then again, he just might.
He has dissappeared of late, which makes me think that he has shed his antlers. Where, of course, is the question.
And, here's a recent original pencil rendition of this buck by my friend Charles Manus. Quite a nice study, considering that Mr. Manus scribbled it out in about 5 minutes. Thank You Charlie!
And thank you for your gift, and support. It is much appreciated.
You're very welcome! Great drawing! :) Sorry to keep harping on this but are you interested in being an ambassador and receiving it's accompanying delegation?
Thanks. I have been on the go and I must have missed your messages. Yes, I would be honored to be an ambassador.
Awesome! I mentioned it in a post and a comment or two but that's just fine. I know we are all busy and doing Steemit around our busy schedules. Glad I asked again. I will get that delegation over to you hopefully some time today.
Looking forward to it...Best!
