I'm embarrassed to say that I wasn't even aware the term (or concept of) bokeh existed, even though I myself have played around with it on occasion...lol.
David Lynch used bokeh as a visual device in Mulholland Drive in order to convey a character's point of view through their own tears.
ah that's cool, yes David Lynch used it very effectively.
