I never liked riding on a plane (please approach me for full details of things I don't like, there's a lot). It gives me so much anxiety.
Will I die?
Will the plane crash?
Will both of the above mentioned happen?
How would my family feel if this plane crashes?
What's the review of this airline based on safety on skytrax?
What do people from tripadvisor say about this airline?
Will the pilot land and take off gently?
Please. Please. Please land gently 😭.
So. Much. Questions. So. Much. Frustrations.
Worrying seems to be part of my nature. But the good thing is, once up I'm up in the clouds (and with less or no turbluence, of course) I feel serene. It just makes you think how vast the Earth is and how little you are. It lets you realize that the clouds form their shape and they move and pass by without anyone noticing, without anyone from the ground seeing it up close. It's a different miracle altogether.
This certain cloud formation caught my attention, it looks like you can walk on it and just stay there and be comfy but in reality there's no solid ground once you step on it, not after a few minutes of free fall that is. It also just looks so majestic and serene for me.
It's terrifying to be up in the air without any control of what's going to happen. But it's also a wonderful thought that creations such as this one exists, beautiful and intangible.
