I know how you feel - we also don't have White Christmas in Austria - at least the valleys are snow free. Two days ago is snowed heavily, but then the rain washed the beautiful white away.
That dark water looks cool and it is always interesting to explore new places.

Oh, we used to have White Christmas every year with lots of snow, but quite some years ago it changed, but not to a black, but to a green Christmas.
I think, in the past 10-15 years we have had only 3 or 4 times a White Christmas.
