Thank you for your reply @igedeswita. No, I do not have geckos or other reptiles - too less time and my wife don't like such animals ;)
Actually my daughter always talks she wants a gecko, but I don't think she has enough time neither to care for the animal. Maybe when she is older and lives in her own apartment...

Welcome. I live in Indonesia and the nature here is very supportive for raising geckos. I made the cage behind the house. Btw, I just got married 6 months ago and my wife likes geckos too :)
I think it would be too cold in austria, maybe even sometimes in summer. Good for you that your wife likes them too ;) I wish you a nice and satisfied marriage with your wife.
