Aurora Fire

20220904-DSC00938-3.jpg

This shot was from simply being in the right place at the right time, under the right conditions. On the right hand side of the image is a green glow from the northern lights. My KP index app alerted me to high activity so I went outside to see if I could find them amidst the new wildfire that had started a few days earlier. This was the last night the sky was clear enough due to smoke for several weeks to be able to see the stars.
