The sixth edition of Downtown Design, the Middle East’s only trade fair dedicated to original, high-quality design, is the biggest and most ambitious to date.
With 175 contemporary design brands, including 40 regional designers, the fair presents the largest ever curation of Middle Eastern talent alongside the best of international design. Visitors will also be able to commission limited-edition and bespoke design from the Middle East and beyond at the fair’s new section, Downtown Editions.
25 global design leaders feature on this year’s stellar talks programme. Award-winning designers Marc Ange, Ini Archibong, Matthew McCormick and Martyn Lawrence Bullard will be joined by the region's most important developers and design firms to discuss diversity, sustainability and planning the cities of the future.
Six large-scale installations, including works by Marc Ange, David Harber and Preciosa, a pop-up retail experience, landscaped indoor gardens and bespoke café concepts will activate the fair’s purpose-built venue and its waterfront terrace.
