Hello fellow Steemers. i am going to be doing a couple of post about tourism in my Country Botswana. I hope your guys will enjoy my post and hopefully pay this beautiful land a visit. So here is little introduction about the country wilderness, More post will follow where i will provide more detail about each tourism site.
Botswana is an unforgettable travel destination blessed with abundant wildlife, ancient cultures and a staggering diversity of landscapes. Much of the country is vast wilderness, untouched and untamed by modern infrastructure, making it a destination that requires a little extra time and planning, but one that is incredibly rewarding.
Here are some of the main tourism attraction sites in this beautiful land of mine. As i said before i am going to explain this areas in great detail in my upcoming posts.
- THE OKAVANGO DELTA; The Okavango Delta dubbed as the jewel of the Kalahari is one of the world’s largest inland body of water blessed with a unique ecosystem. It is found in the north western side of the Kalahari Desert in Botswana, Africa.
Our delta has one of nature greatest adaptation where Predator and Prey are very skilled in all types of terrain.
THE CHOBE: Chobe National Park is Botswana’s first national park declared in 1967 covering around 11700 square kilometers. Famous as the elephant capital of Africa, the park derived its name from the Chobe River and located on the northern part of Botswana near Zambia, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

Kwando
Central Kalahari
Makgadikgadi pans
Kgalagari Transfontier
Khama Rhino Santuary
The list is enourmous and has its own unique flora and fauna. I will also be giving you a list of safari camps and plavces in this each area.
