This walk started because I felt the need to get away, and I am so grateful for the beauty of the day.
It started as the same walk to the shop that I've done every time I'm in England... I pass the cemetery, that somehow seems more haunting in the winter...
but when the corner shop didn't take my AmEx, I decided to turn right and keep going. I happened upon a footpath.
I love the contrast of feeling one can experience through looking at a color photo versus a black and white photo of the same thing.
I do not enjoy the cold.
My card didn't work at the second place I went either, but the journey was by far worth it.
