Photography blog #11 : Fourth of July PT4

in #photography7 years ago

Good day everyone, these are going to be the final submissions in regards to my recent firework shoot on the Fourth of July. I intended on having three final photos posted however there was an issue with one of them and I do not currently have my iMac operable to edit it. This could be done in a decent amount of time once I get my main photo computer back.

This photograph is perhaps my favorite out of this recent shoot, It would undoubtedly make it into my top three for many reasons. There were two distinctly different explosions that complimented each other quite well. I also enjoyed the simplicity of this shot, there were not a thousand different streams stemming from five or more explosions. These two explosions were relatively small and well isolated, the editing was done with all of this in mind to accentuate their specific features.

This photograph is also very different from the bunch, and even more so from the one featured above. It stood out to me simply due to the resemblance of many dandelions. This in tandem with blazing, straight, and sharp angle trails was very impactful to me visually. Though this one was not so simple and can be very chaotic, it has a lot of character and warranted inclusion.

Please comment on any of these if you have any feedback of any kind, it is greatly appreciated. I am currently in the dark as to how long my iMac logic board replacement will be but either way I will be back on posting soon enough. Please do take care, have a great day!

I love these photos. This absolute dark background makes the fireworks stand out really well.

Thank you very much, I agree they turned out nicely where they were shot in Wakefield.
