WATER WHEEL MILL IN TOMASIKOVO
The water mill in TomášikovO is one of the few preserved original water mills in Slovakia. The Maticzov Mill is located in the beautiful surroundings of the floodplain forests and meadows of the Little Danube.
Mill has been built in 1893 by miller Ján Maticza and it was several times modernized. The mill building has been preserved in its original state as well as with a complete milling facility. The mill was pouring until r. 1960. In r. 1982 the mill was restored and made available to the public.
You can visit this beautiful place by car (you can expect a field road there :-)) or by bike.
