Hi friend, Today i am going to visit P.A.F museum.For collecting information of pakistan Air Force defence program.I have some information for machinery and weapon history. So can i share with you.......!
CROTALE WEAPON SYSTEM
The crotale weapon system is made by Thomas-CSF, France. It is an all-weather and highly mobile air defence system.The system make use of a self-propelled missile which is kept in alignment with radar-to-target line of sight.The crotale weapon system is introduced by pakistan air force in 1976.This effectively pickup target between 2.4 KMs to 18.4 KMs range and hight 50 meters to 5000 meters.Weight of the vehicle is 30 metric tons.
FPS-6 RADAR
FPS-6 radar was a high powered,long range,nodding beam. It was inducted in PAF 1960.The radar had the capability and providing height dafa on the target flying between 5000 ft-100000 ft.The radar is veteran 1965 and 1971 indo-pak war.
WEAPONS
Air to Air missile Matra-R 530 is range is 40 LBS to 22000 LBS. This launchers is air ground launchers Use to war.
