I was finally able to get some shots of a jumping spider with the new camera, I've been waiting since last winter!

やっと見つけた!新しいカメラを買ってから待ってた!ハエトリグモってかわいいですね!

It seems that they have only recently hatched as this was a very very small spider!
孵化したばっかりかなとても小さかった!

Less than 1mm! 1mm以下!

It's not even on a big leaf!
乗っている葉っぱは大きくないよ!

Ready for adventure!

I hope he grows up big and strong!

great shots Mark
It's hard to take a clear one with DSLRs
kudos!

Easier than using a phone or point and shoot! The lack of resolution is from cropping down so very much, this was a tiny tiny spider! I'd like to get extension tubes but the camera gear will start looking like a telescope!
Thank you for the support @englishtchrivy!

those guys never sit still
I haven't tried taking one with my D Eye
but experiencing it with the bees made me realized how damn much of a work it is :D

Yes, bees are very active too! I find focusing on the flower and waiting for the bee to come to that flower works best...predicting which flower they are going to isn't so easy though! :P

The biggest benefit to using a DSLR is the lack of lag between pressing the shutter and having the shutter actually move! That's actually the primary reason I bought my first DSLR, I had gotten too frustrated trying to take a photo of a cherry blossom with a point-and-shoot camera, it kept moving (wind) out of the focus area...can't be bitter about that though, it did result in me getting a better camera!

I prefer the smart phone though the shots taken with the DSLR is really really clean ^ ^

Phones are way easier to put in your pocket! :P

great photographer @mweich

Thank you for your kind words @ahyargeos!

Nice shoot!

Wow ... This is a very cute little spider. You managed to shoot with your new camera. May they grow up and meet you again. Good luck always for you @mweich.

I hope to meet him again, I do know where he lives after all!

Thanks for your great support @rizasukma!
