Visiting the zoo

in #photography2 years ago

Today's topic is a little different and it's about visiting the zoo. I have to admit that I haven't visited the zoo since I was a child, since the second grade of elementary school, and it was a nice feeling to go back to that time. The zoo is not at all what I remember it to be, it is much bigger, with more animals and more space for them.
I will start today's visit with my picture, a picture of me and a statue of a monkey named Sami. Sami was a chimpanzee and lived in this zoo for several years and tried to escape several times, but each time he was successfully returned to the zoo. I learned that his attempt to escape was the reason for improving the conditions and safety in the zoo. Sami died a natural death and after his death, this bronze statue of a chimpanzee was made.

And now I'll show you some of the animals that impressed me. At first, eagles.

Eagles
I especially like the first eagle because of its white coat color. These are animals that look very powerful and only when they spread their wings, you can see all their splendor and power.

Owl
The owl has been one of my favorite animals since I was a child when everyone taught me that it is a symbol of wisdom.

Kangaroo
This is the first time I've seen a kangaroo live and it was so cute to watch it jump around.

Deer
The deer made a special impression on me. Somehow he acted like he knew I was taking pictures of him and he needed to pose for me.

Beautiful animal and this white color gives him a special beauty.

Camel
For the end, I have prepared for you this very strange animal for me. Honestly, while I was looking at her in the photos, she seemed somehow more beautiful to me. Now that I saw her live, she looked really weird to me, but she certainly made an impression on me.

That's it from me for today. I hope you like my post and in the comments you can write me which animal left the biggest impression on you. :)
