Time to write my first proper post on Hive and I am going to devote the first few posts to my photography archives. Photographers all have their little niches, sometimes we don't realise it until we look back retrospectively. In my case, I am obsessed with doors.
In the above photo, I came across this fine specimen on the delightful island of Malta. No matter where you venture on the island you are never far from a building with great character. Valletta is a prime example of such grandeur. It wasn't originally the capital, Mdina fulfilled that role initially.
That's it for now, I will dig through my archives and surface many more wonderful doors.
Nice pictures. I would say to not use up your good material before you build a following as posts can only earn for a week. Commenting and joining communities are good ways to do that. Look out for contests you can enter.
THanks @steevc I think I might just "lurk" for awhile and build up a following. Great advice that makes a load of sense.
You can still put out some posts and you should comment. I have seen people put out several posts per day for a while when they first start. Photography does pretty well here though. As I said, contests can be useful to get seen.
