Actually looks like a relatively easy paddle-out, just have to rip into that first shortbreak quickly. Reminds me of Mantoloking NJ where the first 10 feet are murder due to steep incline at water's edge.
It´s Nazaré, and definitely treacherous :) It wasn´t too bad once you got past the shorebreak, but it took them a very long time to get past it. And same again to get back in.

That's vicious! But a bad day being ground into the sand is better than a good day doing just about anything else...
