Known and Unknown Flowers, and a Gratuitous Butterfly

in #photography8 years ago (edited)

These are called honesty (Lunaria annua), judaspenning in Dutch (with a green-veined white (Pieris napi), klein geaderd witje in Dutch, as a visitor).

I think these flowers are called silver dollars in the colonies:

Olympus Stylus 1s, 300mm, ISO100, f2.8, 1/2000s

Intermezzo: for those who are interested in what this butterfly looks like up close, look no further:

Olympus Stylus 1s, 200mm, ISO200, f5.6, 1/200s

End of intermezzo.

But what are these?

Olympus Stylus 1s, 42mm, ISO800, f8, 1/100s

Does anyone know?

Sort:

Last one looks very familiar. Reminds me of some sort of Euphorbia but I'm not sure. I think something similar grows here. Will let you know if I figure it out.
