These fireworks are mostly organized by our local "BANDAS".
Every small town has these "Bandas". It is especially beautiful when the bands are playing in the villages.
This is a clear commitment of the Maltese people to their culture, history, and traditions, which, have grown and been cultivated over the centuries.
Perhaps we love Malta also because of these traditions.
For some years now the Germans have been dissuaded from cultivating the ancient traditions.
