El otro día estaba haciendo limpieza en la casa de mis padres cuando encontré unas diapositivas familiares de hace 40 años.
The other day I was doing some cleaning in my parent's house when I found a box of family slides from 40 years ago.
¡¿Cómo hago para verlas?!
Pues indagué en internet y logré encontrar una manera casera de hacerlo. ¡No solo eso! Pude convertirlas en fotos y compartirlas con mis hermanos y hermanas.
How can I see them?!
Well, I researched on the net and I manage to find a homemade way to do so. And not only that, I could convert them into pictures and share them with my brothers and sisters.
Es muy sencillo, solo necesitas una buena luz y una caja de zapatos.
It's very simple, you just need a good light and a shoes box.
Vas a cortar un cuadrado en la tapa de la caja. El corte será un poco más chico del tamaño de la diapositiva/negativo que tengas, lo suficiente para mantener las mismas en la tapa y no se caigan dentro. Esta será la ventana donde veas las imágenes.
You have to cut a square on top of the box. This square has to be a little smaller than the size of the slides or negatives, just enough to hold them on the top and don´t fall inside the box. This will be the window where you see the images.
La luz debe estar dentro de caja, a un costado (y no justo debajo del cuadrado que recortaste). Yo usé una gran linterna que había en casa (como podes ver en la foto, era la unica que tenia). La luz debe salir solo por el cuadrado que recortaste, no debe haber otra fuga de luz.
The Light goes inside the box, on a side (it can't be below the cut part). I used a big lantern (as u can see in the pic, I only had this one). The light should come out only through the window you made, it can't be other light leak.
Como la linterna era muy grande tuve que cortar la caja de un costado para meterla y después sellé con cinta adhesiva los agujeros que quedaban entre la linterna y la caja.
As my lantern was very big I had to cut the side of the box in order to put the light inside the box. Then I sealed the holes between the lantern and the box with adhesive tape.
En el fondo de la caja poner un papel blanco sin arrugas. Esto es para ver mejor la imagen.
Put a wrinkle-free white paper in the bottom of the box. This will let you see the pictures more clear.
¡Listo! ahora pones la diapositiva sobre la ventana y ¡miras la imagen!
Done! now you put the slides over the window and look at the image!
Podes sacarle fotos con tu celular y quedan bastante bien.
Then you can take a photo to it and they look pretty good.
