Impending Doom

When Wife and I first ascended into the White Mountains of New Hampshire, we had a first hand view of the dramatic weather that they are famous for.


As we summited Mt. Moosilauke, we encountered a dark, roiling bank of clouds tumbling along above the barren mountain peaks. A good part of the mountain was above the tree line, so we hurried along, enjoying the view and hoping the rain would hold off till we made camp.
