6 Proven Wedding Photography Tips for Beginners

Perhaps no other event in life generates pictures galore. And what kind of pictures? That depends entirely on what is important to the groom and even more so to the bride. And what do we do with the pictures once we’ve acquired them? There are countless ways; let’s look at a few of them for now.

1. Select Your Theme

One author’s wedding theme was “modern organic” or “natural modern,” focusing on natural elements. Her colors were dark chocolate brown and shades of green, but many national parks gave her subjects from Joshua trees to subtropical beaches. Desert sunsets, cacti, Gulf waves, ocean beaches and their shells and other such landscapes fit perfectly with her theme. It happened that a lot of the trips she and her husband took together while still dating went to places of beauty.

2. Choose a Simple Photo-Editing Program

One favorite is Adobe Photoshop, which makes it easy to create a simple template. Microsoft Word can also do the trick. If you don’t have Adobe Photoshop, no worries Microsoft Word can do simple layouts. Add some short words about the trip to make it more personal. With the layout already developed, you can use it time and again with different photos.

3. Who Will Produce These Prints?

There are many online photo printing companies such as Snapfish or Kodak Gallery to get prints made. Also, search for printing companies in your locality those services will be available at surprisingly low prices. They may save you a lot of time and money, to say nothing of effort.

4. Make Memories Before the Wedding

Perhaps you have started this already, long before you decided to wed your partner. Perhaps you have on hand a picture frame or photo album, or perhaps a collage of photos of you and your friends from high school or a framed picture of you and your future fiancee or fiance. If your guests have been part of your lives for years, show a slide show during the party of your shared memories.

5. Don't Forget Glamour!

Take your bachelorette party to a photo studio for a glamorous set of prints you’ll keep forever. Make this last night out with the girls a full-scale event. Then you’ll be ready for the glamor of a different sort, a traditional night out at the bars afterward.

6. Some Final Ideas

Make your invitations use unforgettable drawings you once created. Include your parents’ and grandparents’ wedding photos on the entry table or the cake table, giving a sense of history at your wedding. You’ve seen those computerized photo T-shirt shops at the mall. Why not have one at your wedding, as a memento that will always recall the wedding day?

There really is no exclusive a way to include first-class photos. Just a little timely prior planning will go a long way to create memories that will live forever.
