Hi Friends!

Continuation of the series this time - - if You haven't seen the introducion post for this trip, take a look here:

On my second day I decided to go to a very popular locations along a route called Golden Circle - short roadtrip from Reykjavik to see many interesting locations, planned for a one day - very popular option for all the tourists who want to see the beauty of Iceland in just a one day ;) (which is impossible in my opinion).

My first stop was by the crater lake called Kerið.

I loved the colors there - Contrast between the fresh green vegetation, red and brown rocks and blue waters of the lake is magical! Like You can see I had a sunny weather with full sun light. It was nice to explore but not the best for photography... I went around the crater following the path and saw the crater lake from every direction. Very nice place. Not maybe amazing - but very nice ;).

My next stop was Geysir Centre - the most popular geothermal ground on Iceland where we can observe active geysirs among the way.

Many hot springs, colorful minerals on the gorund, ponds with boiling water... and the famous Stokkur gaysir - which shoot the boiling water to the air.
It is always worth to visit and see this even if there is always a lot of people in such places.

During that trip the amount of people wasn't as large as normal so I was able to see everything and explore without the big groups of tourists and long lines to nice photo spots...

In this gallery I present only my smartphone shots so You are not able to see the explosion of water from the main geysir...

After the walk I enjoyed my first coffee that day - it was so good I took one more takeway...

Next stop was by the amazing and powerful waterffall Gullfoss,

One of the biggest, not the highest but most powerfull falls I have seen. Place is worth visiting for sure!

I went back to the southern road to go further West.

On my way I stopped by the two beautiful waterfalls - Seljalandsfoss and famous Skógafoss.

Both of them were magical! And again, the small amount of people was great - I was able to explore the place freely with my camera and plany with long exposure shots without any problems.

Southern coast of Iceland is the best! :)
