It's a good post but I wish you had also written about political controversies surrounding the Warsaw Uprising. It was not a black-and-white event.
There are valid opinions that the uprising had its deeper political context and people who made the decision to carry it out, actually did the wrong thing. The massive loss of lives was a very high price to be paid when one could suspect that, at least to some degree, political motivations were involved in this decision.
In summary, the Warsaw Uprising has more aspects than those you described.
