I thought of a fun experiment that would both help me to create cool artwork and get you some custom made artwork.
Furthermore, I'd be more than super interested in seeing what everybody is thinking about.
Thing is, I was thinking about creating postcard designs, and while thinking more about it, I believe it would be more fun to include all of you during the process, wouldn't it?
The idea is simple; answer the following question:
If you were to send out a postcard this year, what would be displayed on the card?
Bonus question: to who would you send it to?
Name anything you want, be realistic, and maybe I can do some magic!
It would be a fun challenge, so don't leave me hanging!
When I have created the postcard design, I will add it to MakersPlace / OpenSea and gift it to whoever inspired me to create it.

This is such a lovely idea...that after visiting your Grand Piano post.....I thought of another idea for these postcards.
How about white flowers/flower.....tulip with the green still attached with a back drop of a black Baby Grand piano or the keys?
To whom would I send it? .....good query...

I need an OC character for my persona, and I've been holding off because good art never comes free (except from contests or opportunities like this), maybe this is finally my chance? Since it's going up on OpenSea, I imagine we will own the rights to the art (with © credited to you) because this would be exactly what I need.
I would send a portrait of myself with the backdrop of a '60s inspired Woodstock set.
As my mother pushed me out on that chilling day back in January 1988, I was already born dancing to a rhythmical beat. Music runs right through me, from deep in my bones - and such a carefree spirit, you'd never know I was such an opinionated bitch whenever I get the talking stick.
I hate florals and pastel, with a tiny exception: Any spectrum of pink or purple and my heart skips a beat <3
Oh back to the beat, I can keep a really good one but music consumer is more 100% me. I'm content with my huge headphones just listening to the beat all day -- well, of course usually my form of play consists of doodling and scribbling lines with those awesome paint markers of mine.
I'm crazy, as you can see. Well.. I hope this was enough inspiration to go on if you decide to pick me :)

I'm a little bit confused right now... Please help me out, because I might be mistaken, but I think you misunderstood the query... What you're suggesting sounds more like an on-demand artwork to me ^^ which also needs to be suitable for commercial use? You should check if you can hire a designer that can fulfill the expectations.
Well we always send a postcard at least once a year, our wacky family christmas card :) I don't have a suggestion for you off the top of my head. Merry last christmas :)
