Hello :)
This is my first post on Steemit, how very exciting!
I’ll use this report as an introduction to myself and give you an idea of what to expect when/if you decide to follow me on my travels.
My main passion is photography, I picked up a camera nearly 10 years ago and it’s been the driving force for every decision I have made since.
I’m currently travelling south Asia having spent over 6 months out here visiting Cambodia, Malaysia, Thailand and others. I’m heading out to New Zealand at the end of this month for a few weeks in a camper van, I can’t wait.
A bit about me; I’ve recently retired from the Royal Air Force, Aircraft Technician (a ‘rigger’ to those in the know) for 22 years, bowing out of my last tour as sergeant. In that time I moved around quite a bit, seeing many places around my native land Great Britain and indeed the world, Kenya, Canada, Falklands Islands to name but a few. I have many images of my time in the RAF, I’ll do a post or ten on that some other time.

I love lightning, this was captured from Koh Lanta, Thailand.
Here's a few King penguins in their natural habitat on the Falkland Islands.
Dragon's breath in the valleys below the Brecon Beacons, Wales.
I love capturing the sea in it's many moods, it seemed quite playful on that day.
Can you see the face? One of the ancient stones from Avebury, Wiltshire, England.
The amazing Petronas Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
You'll be seeing a lot of star trails here, I might do a guide if people show interest, it's not rocket science.
Aerial photography, I've got many images from 10km up. This one is a little lower, Stanley Airport, Falkland Islands.
