We wandered into town in search of an old romanic church that dates back to the 800's, and unfortunately we found out that the church had already closed. But, we kept walking around, and found this old schloss (castle in German) for the local area. That is really the funny thing about Germany is that even in a small town you can find some type of castle and old church in it. Here is a picture from the side. It is privately owned so we did not go inside.
