📷 Grey Lourie

in #photography5 years ago

Grey lourie is a common bird in the tropics. This handsome man wandered around us during our lunch in Pilanesberg National Park, South Africa. He has smart black eyes, and what a beautiful crest of feathers on his head! And he's not really afraid of people.

How could I refuse the opportunity to shoot such a model?) Here he seems pleased — probably just for this he flew here. How do I send him a photo?

By the way, they are also called a go-away birds because of their characteristic cry, in which people hear "go-way" words. I don’t know, perhaps because it was a year ago I don’t remember such a scream. Or maybe he didn’t shout at me, or shouted not in Russian or English? :)

It's better to watch the photos in high resolution.

Oh yeah! It is bigger than the head itself) If only it were so colorful, it would be super.
