πŸ“· Watercolor Mountains

in #photography β€’ 4 years ago (edited)

Today I have for you some watercolor photographs from one incredibly beautiful and inspiring place β€” the Hill of Seven Colors in Uspallata(Cerro Siete Colores, Uspallata). Perhaps few people know about this place in Argentina itself,as well as foreign tourists. This is because it is overshadowed by the more famous and popular place with the same name, the Hill of Seven Colors in Purmamarca (Cerro de los Siete Colores, Purmamarca). Probably, they shouldn't have given them almost the same names... but what can we do now.

These hills are located just 10 km southeast of the village of Uspallata, in the Mendoza region. It is not difficult to get there by car, despite the fact that the road is gravel and passes through some mountains. But it is worth a little patience and you will find yourself in a wonderful place that promises walks of varying difficulty for every taste. Here you can just wander between the hills and rocks, enjoying the colors (according to the name of the place, at least seven different ones can be viewed here :)), or climb on them for your pleasure.

Trails are visible everywhere, so you can just go anywhere and enjoy. And you can do it for a long time β€” these hills are quite extensive. And there it will definitely be possible to shoot a lot of almost abstract "watercolor" shots, especially from a height, thanks to the colors and landscape shapes flowing into each other.

Sometime later I will show more photos from there, cause we were there for a rather long time... but unfortunately only late in the morning, which turned into day. I wish I could come back here in the right light, morning or evening, sunset... it would be even more beautiful!

It's better to watch the photo in high resolution.
