For my next photographic adventure, I decided to focus on a small ceramic figurine. The figure looks like an angel, but she is simply holding her dress in a way to give the impression that she has wings.
I started by adjusting the lighting to give the figure a black or shadowing type of appearance.
To further play with the lighting, I tried using a small ceiling light as the backdrop. This light gave her an impression of flowing, much like an Angel.
Some additional tricks with lighting changed the appearance even further.
