A curious grouse searching for some breakfast in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. I spent about half an hour walking alongside this guy trying not to startle him. Surprisingly fearless for a flightless bird in the backcountry! Shot on my Canon 70D with 70-200 f/2.8.
