My favorite niece began leaking amniotic fluid three weeks ago. After a great battle from the hospital staff, they had to deliver the Baby last week by cesarean. This baby was at 23.5 weeks, and is in the neonatal intensive care unit. She is responding well, and they are weaning her off of the pediatric ventilator.
They named her Victoria:
No flash allowed in the nicu, so the picture is dark.
Victoria has a sister who was born at 24 weeks, and was 1 pound 10 ounces, who is fine today. So I am hopeful, that Victoria will imitate her older Sister.
Please pray for this Tiny girl, she is a Fighter already; and I know GOD loves her! But she is so small she fits on my hand, and doesn't even hang over....
Such a tiny treasure, with such a great promise!

@apanamamama HI long time! Victoria is a very small girl, but she is doing well. They say she is Very active. They got a little scare when she kicked off some of the sensors, she is ready to leave, LOL!

She has had minor heart surgery, common for premmies; and she is on room air now. Her blood pressure doubled after the surgery, and she is the most active Baby in the NICU.
She is a fighter! Momma is also getting some good rest.
