In Hip Hop we like to say that this music and culture started out of nothing.
But the truth is, hip hop comes from everything.
Hip Hop is Funk and Rock, Soul and Jazz. It is Gospel, Toasting and rhymes for children. Even Disco.
Hip Hop is also politics and technology.
All the forces that led him to become a culture.
But the most important thing is that it’s all those things combined.
And even if the pioneers are essential, they are only part of the whole story.
In the beginning, Hip Hop was mostly an alternative culture and was far from conquering the United States.
No one’s made a rap album yet.
So it is clear that this journey has just begun.
