Macys
Last night I started sharing shots of the Festive displays around NYC with some Reindeer in this post and this morning I will continue with the festive display theme starting with some shots of Macy's at Herald Square
Starting with a shot of the Macys building and its big shopping bag

As you can see witht he people layered up it has cooled down here, and by allthe people in this first shot you can see this was around midday and not like most of my NYC photos early morning with very few people
In the first shot you can see one of the main entrances into Macy's and the clock this second shot shows the clock and the display above the entrance.
this Macys store is pretty impressive with many floors but if we need something from Macy's we normally go to the local one which doesn't get as busy as this one, but if in the city its worth visiting to experience, I particularly love they have an old escalator with wooden features which is well worth checking out

As you can see the theme for this year is Believe in the wonder, now I forgot to get a shot of the big Believe lights they have on the Side Street, but to get this post out today I will include a shot of it from last year

Also down the side Street off Herald Square is the big Turkey they have over one of the entrances, with the Empire State building in the background.

in this post I will not show the main windows, but focus more on the outside displays and the Yes victoria there is a Santa Claus windows,

These were the main display a few years ago and were so popular they have bene putting them onthe side windows for the last few years, and even though I see them each year I still like checking them out.
I only got a couple of shots of them this year, as I was on my lunch break and running short of time and so many people were stopping for selfies by them it was hard to get shots showing the displays

I hate to go shopping, and especially before Christmas I try to avoid shopping malls because there are so many !DERANGED people there ;)
That Macy's looks a bit larger than the shopping malls we have here - I bet it is much larger inside ;) I like the decorated windows though 😊

Ohh I hate shopping at anytime but especially at this time of year, and yes Macy's is !DERANGED huge inside about 10 levels I think and 2 million square feet of retail space

Especially at Christmas time people run !DERANGED hectic around - the city is full and the shops and shopping malls are crowded. I leave shopping to my wife - she doesn't mind ;)
10 levels - that is huge. We do have large shopping mals in Vienna, but I don't think, any of comes even near to that size.

Ohh yeah any shop but especially Malls go crazy !DERANGEd with people out shopping I generally make it harder for myself leaving my shopping till the last couple of days but I have it pretty much covered early this year which is strange for me
actually i looked it up and they claim to be 10.5 levels of shopping

We buy Christmas presents only for the kids - for our kids and for the kids of or closest relatives.
Actually, our kids are 17 and they do prefer an envelope with some painted and numbered paper in it ;) lol
My wife buys the gifts for the other kids and so I do not need to go shopping for gifts at Christmas 👍🙂

Yeah except for my wife whose present I already have and the grandkids whos e presents are taken care of these days I use the colored paper also for gifts :)

I really like that sign with the word believe. I think I can really see that hanging on the wall of my office :) That would be awesome.
I love the believe sign, it would be cool to have a smaller version in one office for sure
