MyPictureSunday #13 - Lost Places

in #photography7 years ago

Welcome my dear Steemian friends to another Episode of MyPictureSunday

Today I went to a lost place in Germany but things turned differently than expected. My friend returned my Nikon D750 he borrowed from me but forgot to put the memory card back into the camera. Well guess when I noticed? The moment I wanted to take a picture. Things however were not that bad and I enjoyed the mysterious atmosphere of lost places. You probably will ask yourself what these lost places are? Then have a look at these pictures I took last year.

I hope you enjoyed todays episode of MyPictureSunday! Tell us how your Sunday was and leave a comment! Tomorrow will follow the announcement of the winners of the MyPictureDay contest. We finally will have new episodes of Myth or Fact as well! Furthermore I will tell you where my next travel destinations will be
Steem on!

Great post, great pictures! ☺

yeah man awesome click with very good light image express all

Peace of Silence ..

Really enjoyed this - thanks. And I upvoted you.

I've had moments like that, I've showed up at locations with full unbacked up cards or nearly dead batteries etc. Good times for sure lol I'm really religious about checking that stuff now before I even walk out of the house or office. Anyhow, nice shots!

Those are truly amazing photos. I really like the one of the van and the other of the person next to the window.

But they are all really emotive... there is something to be said about capturing moments in time. You can mever go back nor can you re live them but when you have the gift of your eye and technology at your side, it makes a beautiful memory which in itself invokes all the emotiom from that moment 👍❤

Such beautiful photos!! You are truly very talented.

We had a sunday outing today too... my pics are not quite as geand as yours... but you can take a look nonetheless 🤗

What a gold mine for picture taking. The shots are fabulous. You have a great eye. I truly enjoy your photos. following

Sensational photographs here. I am slowly - but surely - upping my photo game. Having the right gear is key but developing your eye and your overall skills are the difference makers.

The atmosphere of this place is something!
Man, this is a perfect place to film a post-apocalyptic movie!

Omgg what a perfect shots you have taken it seems like painting that look so unreal and beautiful wow .. loved it great post.. love from Pakistan

Thanks and much greetings!

Pretty cool, that reminds me that we have many abandoned (communist looking) places in Bulgaria, the old Soviet monuments are my favourite, should go and take some pictures, you inspired me :)

Stunning raw pictures, thanks for sharing 👍

Such a cool post apocalyptic vibe from these photos. And it is a bummer that you noticed so late that the memory card is missing.. you will know to check beforehand next time. :)

And this is the photographers way to show feelings.

You picked the right words!

Camera is like the photographers heart.

What a great job. Wanna see more

Today is my first day to this world and your post is the first to look and you won't believe but these pictures are the best...really incredible...

Hi, nice pics.
Can you tel me where was this ? Was it the Est or West side of Germany wen there was the wall ?

Wooww!! Amazing post, I like the way you take the picture. If you all know this is not just a picture, this is a meaningful moment. But I'm not satisfied because I can only see pictures. Not experienced significantly. I think if you can see with the eye not with the camera will be very amazed.😍

@timsaid you really had taken awesome pictures and was fav ones were th last one and 3rd last they looked really abodned and awesome. You rock man
Keep it up and i post photographs too on my blog @naseerbhat kindly have a look.

Nice photographs. It reminds me of the movie titledSilent Hill in which in the other realm the buildings were rustic and abandoned like your photographs. Also imagine of how Chernobyl might look like except with much plant overgrowth.

I think it would be interesting to visit Chernobyl, however I am not quite sure how dangerous the radiation still is

The lost city, yes, it sounds like something very impossible to see again.
But you are incredible because you can find the city and immortalize it into photo.
This is a very beautiful moment seen and the attention of the German community as well as remembering the memories of the city.
Thank you for your submission @timsaid
Greetings from me @ihsan19
