This is called Fontana di Trevi in Italian. It is one of the most stunning fountains in the world and largest fountain in Rome. Typically, visitors toss a coin into the fountain because of its legend. Our tour guide told us about it. It is believed that if you toss one coin into the fountain, it will ensure you a return trip back in Rome someday. If you wish a return trip and to find romance and fall in love with an Italian, you’ll be needing two coins. And if you wish further to marry the person that you met, you’ll need a third coin. But in order to achieve the desired effect you should know exactly how to toss a coin into the fountain. He added the proper way of tossing a coin into the Trevi, it is done using your right hand to throw a coin over your left shoulder. And if you plan to toss the second and the third coin, each coin is to be tossed separately. Another interesting statistic is that approximately 3,000 euros per day are collected from the fountain. This fountain is charitable since the collected money is used to support good causes.

My wife and I spent a week in Rome a few years back, Trevi is a must see. Is the photo current or from a few years ago? Nobody seems concerned with flying germs.

Sorry that photos was taken 3 years ago. I don't have the latest picture of it but looks like nothing has changed the fountain itself. I am presently living here so next time I pass by to the Trevi, gonna take some pictures of it.

Great idea. Do a contrast maybe between now and then.

Some people have a lot of money to throw away.

Adding up every single coin will bring out big value.

Yay! 🤗
