Most of the valley was baran, treed or just pasture for cows, this cool spot was surrounded by short canyons and a huge field just getting cut.
It's amazing how things look differently with 1000' of elevation. The river shores don't look like much from up this high.
Yes, dont low, there are trees around them, animals running around and towering banks beside the river.
