Railways is one of the means of land transportation between cities that are of interest to
all levels of society. Railways system in Indonesia is advancing, it is seen from the
emergence of fast trains that helps smooth ground transportation, and can be used as
alternative transportation..
The train is a mass transportation that generally consists of a locomotive (vehicle motion-powered who walk alone) and trains or carriages (coupled to other vehicles). Trains or carriages the relatively spacious sized so that is able to load passengers or goods on a large scale. Given its nature as an effective mass transit, some countries sought to exploit it to its full potential as a major means of transport land transport in the city, InterCity, as well as between countries. On the other hand rail can be used as an alternative mode of mass public transport is fast, safe, comfortable and affordable in the sekuruh world. This is proved that both developed countries as well as developing countries are promoting the use of rail as a mode of choice in travel
