There is a lot that goes into running an efficient business.
I remember a successful entrepreneur making the statement, "If your business sucks, you as a businessman will suck".
It involves mindset, and determined effort towards maximizing your time and generating profit.
If you go around complaining that your business suffers due to the economy, you have bad clients, your marketing efforts are generating no results, a thousand excuses, it's not the business, but you, the entrepreneur that "sucks".
You allowed yourself to become a victim with a victim mentality. That's not a good position to allow yourself to fall into as an Entrepreneur or Business Owner.
You have to be laser focused on making it "rain" (generating sales and profits) on a continual basis. You have to create a predictable and persistent profitable sales strategy that you can scale. You need to ask yourself, what is my optimal profitable strategy? What are the needs in my marketplace, and how can I meet and exceed them?
Your past, is your past, but it can be used to make sure you don't keep making the same mistakes. Remember, one win, makes up for a lot of mistakes.
