I this picture in our school ground, my friend attracted in the plants.
Mayana Leaves has a bright color, purplish and sometimes it has a combination of variations of colors. The stalk or stem of it can grow 30-150 cm.
If you want to know the scientific name of it is scutellarioides or coleus atropurpureus.
It belongs in family Labiatae. The shape of it's leaf is like a heart.
Did you know that it has health benefits too?
It can handle various kinds of ailments such as ulcer to serious illnesses such as diabetes and hemorrhiods.
My mother used to take that leaves to heal her pain like, cramps and she is using that leaves to heal wound by squeezing the leaf to get the juice or "duga" in Filipino. And sometimes I'm using that leaf too.
But now we don't have plant of that Mayana Leaves.
