Yeah, I think most of them still are. But the one I found directed me to the original 90-year-old owner (Aunt Edie), who is still here in California. So I'm making arrangements to get it back to her. It somehow got lost in the shuffle when she moved into a managed care facility and sold everything else in her house.

I've literally found 1000s of old photos (that's why we're on post #3141). Hardly ANY of them have enough clues to track down anybody. Unfortunately, I don't have the time or resources to play private investigator. Too busy trying to survive. Lucked out on this one.
I hear that. If you have any that are particularly nice, like portraits, you could try a Google reverse image search. Anyway, it's a really cool thing you're doing.
