RE: Useless

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

While we adapt to the permanent change imposed by technology, we play gods with new products with applications as varied as they are amazing. So many novelties distract attention from the old to concentrate on the new, which is the creation of suggestive and dreamy images.
The more images, the less words to express the inner world. That's why the poems are being cut out, while still saying what you want to express. Which, in this case, is the uselessness of the word in the face of the rapidity of the image, which is why it is the title: "Useless"
The incongruence between the requirements of modern life and what we are willing to give in order to match loads, evolves towards a revolution towards the speed that affects creativity. The vision of reinterpretation is directed towards the exploration and readjustment of artistic expression needs. Creating hybrids that cause astonishment and a certain fear for the monopoly of the attention that it is exercising, but seduces and pleases.

To
monopolize
the inherently empty:
steal from me,
gently.

It is "useless" to resist the temptation to experience new forms of expression, new sensations, another perception of wonder.

The unspoken keyword here was vertigo... you have unlocked it!

Yes, and also the positive sense of the word "useless" that is seldom employed. Poetry, art, silence, meditation, existence itself... can be considered "useless" in that they are not means towards an end, but an expressed perfection of Being rather than Doing.

The incongruence between the requirements of modern life and what we are willing to give in order to match loads, evolves towards a revolution towards the speed that affects creativity.

Nice insight.

It is "useless" to resist the temptation to experience new forms of expression, new sensations, another perception of wonder.

And how futile it is to plead with life, "Don't go!" Transformation is the bedrock of incarnation.
