#385 - One afternoon in the city of pines.
Good morning once again my fellow beautiful Hiveans. Yesterday I accompanied my son to the rehab doctor for a follow up check and after that I also went to a mall in the nearby city here in Marikina which is Pasig city. The mall has an LTO satellite station inside and that's where I renewed my license and it is good for 10 years already. I just have to submit to mandatory medical examinations every once in a while like three years after my renewal. Though I don't have a car yet since my license is expiring, I had to renew. The car I have been driving before was already sold by the owner so I have to save some so I can have my own car even if it's used.
Moving on to our photos of the day which we took in the city of pines last month, these pictures were taken using my wife's phone. Here we have a street performer sitting without any chair at all. I have seen the expose only and it is because there is a metal somewhere in his jeans that he uses to sit like this. Many people are astonished by the street performer but those who knew the trick just passed by shaking their heads, smh 😅.
Here is a view of the street performer from the hotel window we are staying. He has been sitting there for a long time not to reveal his secret.😃
There is also this snowman from the movie Frozen named Olaf, kids are attracted to him and they go to his side for some photos.
Then after that, we walked to the park nearby which is only a few hundred meters away from the hotel. There are a lot of people especially kids riding bikes and going around the park.
That's when we decided to give it a try to even if the price is a bit exaggerating. It was $3 for thirty minutes while the rent here in Marikina is only about $1 for an hour.
The four wheeler ride we rented is actually good for four and there's three of us so it is a bit fair for the price. What we did is we had to circle around for thirty minutes riding this thing. We can't push the ride fast because there were a lot of bikes to going in circles as well. We enjoyed doing this in the park and will give it another try once we get back to this city once again.
