#966 - Lake Tabeo Shots for Monday.
Happy Monday lovely Hive fam! 🌱 New week once again and it's a fresh start and a blank canvas for us all. Progress over perfection is our goal, small steps still move mountains rather than aiming for big moves. Be kind to our hustles and to our hearts and go shine however you can today for our people. Let’s all turn them, what ifs into why nots, all together! 💪✨ #MondayMotivation #HiveHeart
Now for our daily shots, featuring A Chilly Morning Stroll at Lake Tabeo. After waking up a bit earlier than seven in the morning, my wife and I set out for an early morning walk around Lake Tabeo in Kabayan, Benguet, while bracing ourselves against the biting cold which happens daily here at anytime and even all day during rainy days. The moment we stepped onto the grassy areas outside the transient house, the cold air bit to our skin and the dampness from the wet lawn seeped into our footwears.
Thick fog rolled across the mountains nearby as if blending with the low hanging clouds that looked almost close enough to touch, like walking through a dream in a day time.
If the fogs got more volume then we could barely see more than a few meters ahead, the lake’s surface calm and there's a lone boat also at the shore near the registration house. The silence was deafening, broken only by the occasional rustle of grass or wind whistling. After just some minutes, our fingers were numb and our jackets felt useless against the unending unlimited chill.
We got an eye to eye with the wife and laughed lol at our own limits of the cold while taking and snapping a few quick photos of the cold beauty before retreating to warmer transient room. Though our visit on this cold lake was short, Lake Tabeo left its mark big time, pa haunting, frozen moment where nature reminded us who’s really in charge.
