Well, Korzybski is probably most famous for his analysis of the structural linguistic problems we have when we use the verb 'to be' (the E-Prime fetish which keeps giving) but here is a rare video of his understanding of abstraction... as opposed to the tiresome sub-Matrix 'world is an illusion' which he rejects wholeheartedly.
and then Robert Anton Wilson chats a little about him too... this is more on the 'general semantics' angle; of linguistic relativity (itself spinning off Einstein work on spacetime) - but also delves into Reich, Perls and so on. He explains that - in very simple terms (perhaps an oversimplification - almost certainly) "The Map is not the territory" alongside other, more complex, uses of linguistics as a tool for social control.
