SERENITY IN NAME AND IN AMBIANCE: A SHORT RECOLLECTION OF SERENITY RESORT IN NORTHERN CEBU. This blog should be posted two nights ago but a 6.9 magnitude earthquake hit in Bogo City and other northern parts of Cebu, stopping me from posting this after the complete blackout. This blog would be engraved poignantly in my heart and mind as before I pushed the publish button, just milliseconds away, that tremendous earthquake hit and is giving us consistent aftershocks until now, so as emotional and community turmoil we are not prepared for.
Serenity Bayside Resort is situated in Sitio Badiang, Tabogon, Cebu. From the name itself, this resort is home of greatest calm, peace, and warm embrace of the sea and its landscape. This one is different from any other beaches I visited so far in our town. This one is not crowded and chaotic, it has this rare ambiance that let me felt exclusive and free during the stay. When I arrived to the resort, there was one thing I thought first, it could be a simple resort with good architecture, but for sure the experience would be top-tier and I didnt disapppoint me later that day.
I decided to visit this resort last summer, not because there was an occassion, but because I craved for some retreat. The drive to the beach in Tabogon were so memorable—green hills, fresh breeze from healthy trees, and farmers doing their jobs made the trip feel both scenic and dramatic. I would say, by the time I arrived at Serenity Bayside Resort, I was humbly welcomed by the view of the sea stretching wide to the horizon. The resort is established perfectly and for sure the waters contain a lot of amusements and commends from visitors since then.
The accommodations are not big or luxurious but that is exactly what makes them amusing. The resort's guest rooms are spacious enough for and families and barkadas with air-conditioning and often two toilet and bath areas to keep comfort in check. I learned that some of their rooms could house seven people...imagine it, and they could be so fun on the stay, and it even comes with free breakfast, making it suitable for friendship trips or family getaways. I would also say the rooms are in great structure and I commended silently the architecture of the resort. It is less expensive but luxurious in architecture and experience.
What caught my attention more than the physical beauty of the resort was the place itself. Serenity Bayside Resort nailed im being a peaceful resort anchored to its blue waters and fresh, natural sea breeze that slaps you gently in the face. By morning, ftom what I overheard, in early of it, the sun rise like a man and it thus offers a fresh morning to the visitors. It creates another form of mornings especially while eating breakfast in front of the sea. The patterns, tiny plants, color palletes of the resort, and perfect spot for building it are some of the key gems of the resort. The white railings and blue cottages made me interested before I visited it since they look good on their websites.The resort has lot of things to offer, from comfortable accomodations to water activities that makes experiencr unforegttable and kicking.
While on the beach, I realized oddly how this kind of place relaxes me after long time of battling life's challenges. The resort is true home for family, friendship, and special occaassions that are deeply engraved in our hearts. I just passedby to this beach because of my wanting to rest but I did not regret passing on it because it brough me things no currency can buy. With all honesty, Serenity Bayside Resort is not solely named for economic purposes nor is just a label. It is for the feeling of serenity in a place, one or two or three times you want to have again, that you carry with you long after you leave a memorable place.

Hi @lhes I appreciate you reading my blog. I am still living in San Remigio and is greatly affected by the earthquake. We still experience aftershocks here that we csnt even sleep properly at night.
