Microsoft made changes to kill the Control Panel within Windows 11.

As part of RECENT INSIDER PREVIEW BUILD 22509, Microsoft has decided to remove most of the settings from the Control Panel to the Settings app in Windows 11.

This comes after the company started. introduces changes to the Settings application within Windows 11 recently.

Microsoft will kill the Settings Preferences Control Panel App

It is revealed that Advanced Sharing Settings such as Network acquisition, file, and printer sharing, and public folder sharing will now remain in a new category under Advanced Network Settings in the main Settings app. Network and Device Settings in the Control Panel will also direct users to related pages in the Settings app.

Additionally, specific device pages under Zephrinta and Scan settings will also display additional information in the Settings application. These changes are part of "Microsoft's CONTINUOUS EFFORT TO BRING OUT OUTSIDE CONTROLS INTO THE PROGRAM."

Microsoft ALSO MOVES THE FOLLOWING RELEASE FOR WINDOWS UPDATES FROM UNDER CONTROL to the Settings application. Additional charges are expected to follow to make things much easier on Windows 11. This will help users find all the possible settings in one place instead of looking at both the Control Panel and Settings.

For those of you who don't know me, Control Panel has been a part of Windows for over a decade now and was first introduced with Windows 8. Both the Control Panel and the Settings app have been around ever since but Microsoft seems to be changing now. its final focus is to be simple and easy to use.

Remember, while the Control Panel did not experience any major changes, Microsoft began to roll out its Windows 10 version. As for the latest Windows 11 Internal Preview, including a ton of changes, including Start Menu upgrades, NOTEPAD TECHNIQUES, SELECTION, AND SELECTION capabilities DETERMINED INFORMATION SYSTEMS, as well as additional uploads.

New versions are expected to be released next year for regular users. Are you happy with Microsoft's decision to kill the Control Panel? Let us know in the comments below.
