You know that the plane in the picture is a Antonov AN-2. A russian biplane wich they say it's the safest biplane ever made. Although it's a big plane if the engine fail or you get to stall it (very hard manuever because it can fly at very low speed) it will not fall faster than a parachute. So that's why the pilots have the nerve to do those maneuvers with them :D
