The size of your wallet does not dictate how many people see your posts here on the platform. The quality of your content plays a major role in it. Also factor in the time that someone has been here on the platform, what they have put into the community and the connections that they have made. Too many small accounts play the victim here and use the fact that they don’t have much SP in their account as a crutch. Many also make the mistake of posting too many times each day and not realizing that there is a limited amount of votes to go around and spamming posts is not the best way to go about growing, but creating quality content is. Buying Steem and powering up is a great way for accounts to show their faith in the platform as well.

@derangedvisions Thank you for explaining. I partly agree but do agree it is not okay to (an) use the fact you are "just" a plankton or... Most of what I earn a week goes directly to those who join my contest.
About the amount of posts I do not know what is good or bad. With so many accounts here or if you have 2000 followers there is plenty of upvote available to vote on more as just one post or pick out a post of your interest.
A post about a contest you host is not the most exciting one but has to be done. Same with the announcement of the winners. These posts plus the payments eats a lot of time, same with reading, commenting and up voting them all but it does not pay back. I see it as a way to engage to others, let them know at least one person read what they wrote or saw their photo. I did not take the easy way, even have to translate a lot.
I do believe the size of your wallet does make a huge difference in being noticed but also in what you can post. The best posts do not come from the biggest walkets and it is way more interesting to receive an upvote from a big fish as from me.
I bought Steem to pay the prizes and to upvote although I can not really afford it and need the small income I have to keep my children alive. After the latest HFs I thought it was a good way to give the same amount of upvote.
About faith... That is an interesting discussion too. If you ask me Steemit inc is the one who showed, by selling, they do not have faith. Big fish investors left because of the downvote mafia, steemit changed your ownership of your content (no matter on which tribe you post they say they are the one), etc. Many might not care about it but I do. I like the platform because of certain people but I dislike the sneaky ways, the "you get paid unless...20 exceptions why not you are not aware of", the fights etc. I invest my time and money in it and want a good time. That is all.
Posts about " I am so poor, I have nothing to eat, I need to pay my rent" I ignore now. I notice it works there are always people helping them out but I can no longer be one of them. Many here need money but I noticed too that if I point them at a contest to join, where they can easily win, even get paid for joining they do not show up.
Thanks again for the good discussion. You gave me something to think over (which I like). A happy day and luck with your contests. 💕
