Today I am going to post my first post for the plantbreeding@home project.
Plantbreeding@home is a project @dysprosium created about eight months ago as an 'offline gridcoin project'.
I received my pepper seeds a few weeks ago, in a very inconspicuous envelope, but wasn't able to plant them till last thursday.

Heute poste ich meinen ersten Beitrag zum plantbreeding@home Projekt.
Plantbreeding@home ist ein Projekt, das @dysprosium vor acht Monaten als 'offline Gridcoin Projekt' ins Leben gerufen hat.
Ich habe meine Samen zwar schon vor einigen Wochen erhalten, in einem ganz unscheinbaren Umschlag, aber bin bis letzten Donnerstag noch nicht dazu gekommen sie zu pflanzen.
I planted them in pots in a mini grow house, watered them and left them some privacy for the weekend. When I came back on monday I found the first green sprouts, as you can see in my pictures below.
In total I planted eight seeds, four of each variety. On Monday already three from the greater type (back row in the first picture) got their sprouts out of the ground and only one of the small type (front row in the first picture).
Gepflanzt habe ich die Samen in einem Minigewächshaus, etwas Wasser dazu und dann den Samen etwas Privatsphäre übers Wochenende lassen. Als ich am Montag wiedergekommen bin konnte ich direkt die ersten Sprößlinge finden, die ihr in den Bildern unten sehen könnt.
Insgesamt habe ich acht Samen eingepflanzt, jeweils vier der beiden Sorten. Am Montag waren dann drei der größeren Sorte (hintere Reihe im ersten Bild) und einer der kleineren Sorte (vordere Reihe im ersten Bild) aus dem Boden gebrochen.

That's right, already one full-size sprout more, so that now all four sprouts of the bigger variety are visible.
And if you look closely there's also one more little fella.
Heute, zwei Tage später, sieht's schon so aus:
Ihr seht richtig, der letzte der größeren Sprösslinge hat aufgeholt, sodass jetzt alle vier der großen Sorte sichtbar sind.
Und wenn man genau hinsieht kann man auch einen weiteren kleinen Sprößling entdecken.

As far as I know the plantbreeding@home project is the only offline gridcoin project.
I'm not sure if you could still participate, but asking @dysprosium won't hurt.

deine Keimlinge sehen ja schonmal super aus! Ich hatte bei der Samenverteilung bereits Sorge, dass eventuell die Samen nicht reichen könnten, da ich ja auch deren Keimrate nicht kannte, aber wie es scheint, war diese Sorge unbegründet! :)
P.S.: Kaum schreibt man auf Deutsch, kommen unsägliche Schachtelsätze dabei raus! xD
Bin bisher auch zufrieden, das Keimen ging jetzt echt schnell. Bei den vier großen Samen bin ich da auch einigermaßen froh drüber, da hätte ich nur noch einen als "backup"
Von den Kleinen hab ich noch ein paar mehr über :D
